Just a 3 minute walk from Quayside Quidi Vidi. Watch local artisans at work, take an art class, and shop for locally-made crafts. Open Wednesdays through Sundays from 10am-4pm.
Just a 5 minute walk from Quayside Quidi Vidi. Enjoy a locally-brewed craft beer and fish and chips while listening to live music and taking in the sights and sounds of Quidi Vidi Village. Opens at noon, 7 days/week.
A 6 minute walk from Quayside. Book a whale-watching boat tour or cod fishing excursion with Quidi Vidi Charters. Seasonally operated. Book early to secure your desired date. Recreational cod fishing is typically on Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays in July and August, but this is subject to change each year.
Just a 3 minute walk from Quayside Quidi Vidi. Weather-dependent and seasonally-operated, from early June to early September. St. John's tradition since the early 1800s! Enjoy an easy four-kilometer walk around the lake, feed the ducks, and enjoy the natural beauty of the area. The Quidi Vidi Lake Loop is part of St. John's Grand Concourse network of walking trails.

Only a 1 minute walk from Quayside. Basically across the street! A small pub with a big personality. If you're lucky, Linda will be there to screech you in, to become an Honourary Newfoundlander! Don't ask us for the hours of operation; it is somewhat of a mystery : )

The trail head is a 4 minute walk from Quayside. Hike to breathtaking vistas of Quidi Vidi Harbour and the Atlantic Ocean. Great spot to pick blueberries in late Summer. Or have a picnic while enjoying the views.
A 10 minute drive or 30 minute hike will bring you to the centre of the Signal Hill National Historic Site. Visit Cabot Tower, enjoy the panoramic views, explore the trails, and learn about the important history of this site.
